Hello, Warriors!
The Fresno High School Alumni Association Board seated a new Board along with this website in 2021. This came about as a result of the former FHS Alumni Association Board resigning during the Warrior Logo removal issue.
After a couple of years of reestablishing a foundation once again, the FHSAA Board is now having regular meetings to establish a new baseline of action goals for the upcoming year. This new Board is committed to re-establishing a strong alumni presence locally and from afar, with fresh ideas and established traditions and look forward to your input!
The two main goals of the FHS Alumni Association are to create an informational center for alumni and also provide funding for students and school activities as needed. Starting over on the website was a daunting task, but the FHSAA Board members are moving forward to getting this forum back to where it once was and make it the main source of Fresno High Alumni news. If you do not belong to the Alumni Association, you are encouraged to join and help keep the organization strong, if not already a member!
We express our gratitude to website consultant Mr. Nate Chintella for setting up our website platform and his help in getting our plan into action!

NEW ADDITIONS TO THE FHSAA BOARD
We are pleased to share an update from our most recent Alumni Board meeting, where several important changes and additions were made to the Board of Directors.
On August 21, the position of Secretary was appointed to Diana Mosqueda Carillo (Class of 1976), while two At-Large positions were created and filled by Ernest LiCalsi (Class of 1976) and Alex Carillo (Class of 1976).
We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Darrelyn Colldar, who has faithfully served as Secretary since our reorganization. Despite living out of state, she dedicated countless hours to ensure the success of our efforts. Darrelyn was also instrumental in the early days of this group, playing a key role in organizing the fight to preserve Fresno High’s historic logo.
Finally, we are continuing the search for a permanent Treasurer, and we are hopeful this important position will be filled soon.
BEER AND WINE MIXER - AUGUST 22, 2025
On August 15, the FHSAA Board and Alumni got together for a wine-and-beer (and food) mixer across the street at the Artes de Flamenco Studio, (with thanks to Ricardo) who kindly allowed us their space to meet. We shared stories, catching up with each other as it had been a while, and also also tossed around ideas for the upcoming 2026 Alumni Dinner (scheduled on May 2, 2026) and possible themes. It was a great time, and we’re planning more get-togethers throughout the year. Hope to see you at the next one!
Class of 1959 Reunion - A Resounding Success!
Last September, the FHS Warriors Class of 1959 gathered for a heartwarming reunion. One hundred classmates came together, filling the room with laughter, stories, and the joy of rekindled friendships that had stood the test of time. Though two dedicated chairs were missed due to illness, their spirit was felt among everyone as they celebrated the bond that continues to unite the Class of ’59.
